Pharaoh illustrates the clear truth that miracles cannot convert a person. If men’s hearts could be made right by the observation of miracles, then Pharaoh would have been saved long ago. Therefore when we pray for the lost whom we care for, don’t pray for the Lord to pull a rabbit out of His hat that they might believe, but rather pray that His Holy Spirit would convict them of their sin before a Holy God.
