Exodus 5-6

Whenever we really get up and get moving in the Lord, we can expect opposition. The enemy rarely gives up his prey without a fierce struggle, and yet how we respond to that resistance is far more important than the resistance itself. When we fight opposition and difficulty with the promises of the Gospel, the resistance itself becomes our divinely ordained agent of growth. In Exodus Chapter 5, the Lord enrolls Moses is in the University of Opposition, an education he will draw upon for the next 35 years leading Israel through the Sinai wilderness.
