Romans 9:17-24

For a person to hold the truths of an infinite God hostage and accountable to finite human reasoning is the height of presumption. The twin towers of God’s Sovereignty and Human Responsibility are the 2 immovable strongholds of our salvation, and to diminish either truth at the expense of the other, does nothing more than take the bridge of God’s purposes out from underneath us altogether. Get your Word on with us in Romans Chapter 9, where we discover the beauty and vitality and spiritual health of embracing this tension as God intended, that we might be filled with wonder and awe and thanksgiving, and emptied of pride and self-righteousness.
