Romans 11:1-6

The story of Elijah’s despondency after the stunning victory at Mount Carmel teaches us a number of significant lessons. One of which is, we simply do not see the whole picture as the Lord does. And when we filter our version of reality through personal emotional bias and limited understanding, we can arrive at conclusions that are just not true and good, and downright unhealthy for us spiritually. Join us this week in our first study in Romans Chapter 11, where we learn to rest and trust and put the full weight of our faith upon – not our present circumstances, not our personal experiences, nor the lack of immediate results – but upon the rock solid unchanging fully informed perfect truths in the Word of God.
