In the ancient Japanese art form of Kintsukeroi, they would restore broken pottery with gold, in such a way that the fractures were literally illuminated by the gold. They treated breakage and repair as part of the history of the object. That which made the vessel worthless, was in fact the very thing that would make it supremely valuable. When they were through, the broken vessel was actually more beautiful and valuable than it was before it was broken. THAT IS WHAT the Gospel is like.  God takes vessels headed for destruction broken by sin, and redeems them to unspeakable eternal value and beauty, made useful by the very fractures that had broken them. This week we launch NEW STUDY in the book of ROMANS, considered pure Gospel gold by the greatest Christian minds throughout history. Get your Word on with us in this new season, as we seek to scale the high peak of the New Testament!
