Sometimes a person may wonder why God created man the way He did, limited and suffering and subject to sorrow and death.  Here’s something we’ll never have to wonder about. God did not exact from man anything He didn’t exact from Himself in the person of Jesus.  From the trivial irritations of life to the cramping restrictions of hard work and lack of money  –  to the unspeakable horrors of pain, humiliation and death…  When God became a man in Jesus, He went ALL IN.  Jesus played the man.  When you are reaching out to God in your hour of need, you are not reaching out to some aloof deity in the sky, you are crying out to a God is intimately familiar with both your sorrow and your joy.  He WAS you in Christ; He was the Son of Man.  BUT HE WAS ALSO the Son of God, which means He shares in His divine nature.  In this duplicity, Jesus alone is able to lay a hold of limited sinful man and the infinite glorious God and bring those two together at the Cross. You see the Son of God became a man, to enable men to become sons of God. Get your Word on with us and press into the mystery of the Gospel deeper than ever before, that we might further delight in Him!
