Luke 2:21-38

This week in Luke Chapter 2 we find 2 people who were of no reputation in the world, but who had a very deep and powerful walk with the Lord. They were 2 people who were devoted to God, and because they were devoted to God, they were able to treat people with love and dignity. Most of the world has long since forgotten their names, but they will cast incredibly tall shadows in the Kingdom to come. The world at large may place very little value upon us as individuals, but if we can learn from the lives of these 2 individuals, we may very well be among the great in God’s Kingdom as well. In an age when Christians are consumed with the will of God, when you simply love God and you love people, you will find that God will take care of getting you from point A to point B.
