Luke 12:22-40

According the APA, 72% of adults in the United States report feeling stressed about money some of the time, while 26% report feeling stressed about money most or all of the time. Anxiety disorders are the most comment mental illness in the US, effecting some 40 million adults, or 18% of the population. Worrying about our daily needs is an epidemic in our country, and yet here we are living in the most affluent culture on the planet. Well clearly something is very wrong; clearly there is a bigger problem. This week in Luke Chapter 12, Christ is teaching us that we are captured by anxiety, because we simply do not know how valuable we are to God. In a provocative study both as encouraging as it is convicting, Jesus is going to teach us the shocking scope of His love and the galactic depth of His care for us.
