The writer of Hebrews calls Joshua, Rahab and the children of Israel to the stand to testify how the people of God come into the land of Promise – that the Lord has for ALL believers to experience THIS side of the resurrection. As Israel finally comes to the edge of the Promised Land, there is the impregnable fortress of Jericho that stands in their way. And yet because the Lord has built them up and trained them in His grace and His sovereignty, they boldly walk in lockstep with their God – trusting Him to take down the impossible! WHAT IS YOUR JERICHO? What is it in your life that just refuses to surrender? Whatever issue there is that seems to just linger and mock you – THAT is the issue that the Lord wants to give you victory over this week!
