Colossians 3:1-16

When you come to that week immediately preceding your vacation, let’s face it  –  you’ve got a little extra pep in your step, you’re filled with anticipation and joy at the prospect of a restful week in the noon day sun…  And if we’re honest, we’ll acknowledge that we can put up with a lot of garbage that week that we would not handle so well otherwise, because we know what’s right around the corner.  In Colossians Chapter 3, Paul encourages us to keep setting our minds on things above, where a simple earthly vacation pales in comparison to what God has before us for all of eternity.  Should we not then as Christians walk a bit differently than we do?  Get your word on with us, where we seek this week to cultivate the mindset of an eternally minded believer delighting in the Gospel!
