The writer of Hebrews doubles down on our eternal security to close out perhaps the most difficult chapter in the New Testament. For those that still doubt their eternal security, this study is for you! Not only will the writer put that doubt to bed here – but he’ll tuck you in, give you a kiss on the forehead, get you a nice warm glass of milk and a teddy bear, and set you completely at rest. Employing extraordinary nautical imagery, the writer of Hebrews tells us that we have a sure and steadfast ANCHOR FOR THE SOUL in Christ!  And yet this anchor of ours, it doesn’t go down to the bottom of the ocean, but rather upwards and into the throne room of God itself, where it remains permanently and irremovably  lodged. Neither the sins of men, nor the temptations of the devil, nor the hostility of this world, can ever sever the cord the Lord has secured to your soul. Get your Word on with us and make much of Christ!
