Esther 8-10

In the riveting conclusion to our study in Esther, the people of God celebrate their astonishing deliverance from genocidal extinction in a series of massive reversals.  The compelling thing about this deliverance, is that the Lord pulled this off without any overtly supernatural displays, through ordinary struggling believers.  Though God could have accomplished His unimpeachable purposes in a thousand different ways, He chooses to do so in a way that provides remarkable encouragement for the likes of us in the Church today.  God works through ordinary people through ordinary means to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.  Even as the people of God in the 5th Century BC Persian Empire are delivered from this sentence of death, so we who name the name of Christ have been delivered from the sentence of death in sin.  Get your Word on with us and celebrate our extraordinary reversal of fortune in Christ!
