2 Peter 3:1-7

In part 1 of our 2-part study in Chapter 3, we’re instructed in the base foolishness of those arguments seeking to mock and discredit the return of Christ, while at the same time discovering just how intelligent the Christian faith is. Peter takes an apologetic turn in defending the Creation and the Flood, redirecting our confidence in the reality of Christ’s return. Unfortunately, in this biblically illiterate church age, false teaching has us SO focused on the here and now, that most believers give little or no thought to the bustling vibrant society that the Bible teaches the 2nd coming is going to usher in, exchanging that instead for some nebulous flimsy floaty notion of heaven with harps and clouds.
