2 Peter 2:10-16

The Apostle Peter’s torrent of fury against false teachers reaches its zenith in the text this week. And as difficult as this text gets, we must recognize that its author is the Spirit of God Himself; Peter is just the human instrument. What we are discovering here is the furious love of God in protecting His children, and the utter merciless destruction that awaits these spiritual pedophiles who come into the church to try and deceive and destroy those younger in the faith and unstable in the Word.  Now they find no audience in Churches that have a high view of Scripture, but tend to flourish in those environments where sound doctrine is minimized. The Apostle Peter makes it categorically clear for the believer, just who these false teachers are, why they do what they do, and where they do it.  Get your Word on with us in a strong study, where we turn up the heat in crushing these wolves.  You don’t tolerate cancer, you cut it out and KILL IT for the glory of God and the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
