Romans 3:27-4:8

In Romans Chapter 4, the Apostle Paul brings two witnesses to the stand in Abraham and David, to show the religious Jew and indeed all of us, that God has always justified a person by faith alone. Now this is something organized religion doesn’t want you to know, because it’s far easier to control a population bound up in guilt, than it is people who have been set free to discover what God has for them in life. The reason people find this wonderful truth of justification by faith so hard to believe, is because in the natural we’re just allergic to the Gospel. We’re allergic to the idea that something this wonderful can become of us apart from ourselves somehow contributing to it. And yet that is exactly what God is telling us.
