The writer of Hebrews begins the final section in this remarkable Epistle, as he moves us from learning to living. There are a number of ways we would characterize this shift, and it’s the same pattern we find in all of the New Testament Epistles. Belief must precede behavior, doctrine must precede duty; precepts must precede practice, revelation must precede response. It is when our actions are not tethered in the truth of scripture that the people of God can get pretty goofy. IF WE ARE TO COME TO THE FULLNESS OF JOY, then our response must be predicated upon the truth of God in the Word of God to the glory of God. This week we have 3 extraordinary exhortations to begin, that the writer resolves in – not just THAT we are to go to Church – but HOW we are to go to Church. Get your Word on with us in a timely study this week – and discover God’s divine blueprint for the New Testament Church. Assembly required!
