Two worlds collide in our final story in Luke Chapter 8, and the contrast couldn’t be more pronounced, and yet poetically and beautifully deliberate. You have a wealthy man and a poor woman. A man whose name is given and a woman who remains unnamed. A man of notoriety and a woman of shame. This man has experienced 12 years of joy, while the woman has suffered for 12 years. And yet it is through the person and works of Jesus Christ that these 2 very different paths converge and become woven together in a shattering display of the glory and capacity of Christ.
