The prophets and the Apostle Paul tell us that the relationship we are to have with God, is to mirror the relationship that a lump of clay has with the Potter. Now the Potter has an image in mind when he sits down at the wheel, and in order for that image to come to pass, that clay is going to need to submit to and yield to the Potter’s design. In other words, the clay is going to need to bend and move and be pressed when and how the Potter is requiring it to do so. Now the stiffer the clay, the harder the clay, the more resistant the clay – the more difficult it is going to be for the Potter to bring forth the image He has in mind. Get your Word on with us this week in Luke 21, where Jesus begins to mold and shape and bend our wills, that we might be in a position to be formed into the fullness of God’s intent for our lives.
