In Luke Chapter 10 Christ says some very difficult and some very interesting things, teaching us yet again that where there is privilege there is responsibility.  He tells three religious communities that the pagan cities of Tyre and Sidon and Sodom will fare better in the judgment than them, because they turned their backs upon the God of the Bible.  Now here we are, we won’t police our southern borders, and yet if you sell raw milk to your neighbor we’ll send a SWAT team through your front door.  Here we are, we will send troops abroad and pray that God would protect our sons and daughters, while we turn around and butcher our own sons and daughters in the womb. These are the kinds of things that happen when a Nation continues to turn its back on the God of the Scriptures.  But we have a chance to change that  –  because where there is the Gospel there is always hope.  There has never been a more important time for the Gospel to take flight here at home.
